GovRoute is a service of VarnadoeClark, LLC, a Georgia small business that bids and writes proposals for public-sector work. Georgia is the state we run ourselves, and this page is the whole of what we say about it: which registries we search, which counties and agencies actually turn up in the feed, and how a bid becomes a match for your business.
This is one statewide page, not a directory. There is no separate page per Georgia county, and we do not claim a dedicated page for each of the state's counties.
Where we look
- SAM.gov -- the federal contract opportunities system.
- The Georgia Procurement Registry -- the state's own registry of solicitations.
- County bid pages -- the county sites themselves.
We search these every day and match what's live to your counties and your NAICS codes, so you don't have to search for them yourself.
Counties that show up in the feed
These are the Georgia counties that appear with recurring volume in the feed today:
- Gwinnett
- Rockdale
- DeKalb
- Fulton
- Macon Bibb
- Chatham
- Henry
You are not limited to that list. At sign-up you enter your own counties, as they appear on bids (for example "Gwinnett, Fulton"), and leaving the field blank means the county filter excludes nothing.
Agencies that show up in the feed
Buyers that appear with recurring volume include Gwinnett County Government, the City of Atlanta, Rockdale County, and the Fulton County Purchasing Dept, alongside federal buyers including the Department of Defense, the Department of the Interior, and the Department of Commerce.
Bids GovRoute finds but cannot classify by county or NAICS are not hidden and not counted as matches either -- your subscriber page shows them separately, marked as bids it couldn't classify.
How a Georgia bid becomes your match
- Three settings decide it -- your counties, your NAICS code prefixes, and your value band. Leave any of them blank and that filter doesn't exclude anything.
- One email, in the morning -- we check your matches against the day's feed every morning, and when there's anything new you get one email by 7:05 AM Eastern. No news, no email that day.
- Your calendar agrees with your email -- the calendar feed and the daily email always show the same matched bids, never more and never less.
- You change the settings yourself -- your counties, NAICS codes, and value band are editable any time from the Settings link on your subscriber page.
