Your page

Once you sign up and confirm your email (see Confirmation below), GovRoute sends you one link: your subscriber page, at an address like /s/<a long token>. That link is your login -- there's no separate username or password. Anyone who has the link can see your page, so don't share it.

Your subscriber page lists the bids that currently match your counties, NAICS codes, and value band, and links to your calendar feed. If GovRoute found bids it couldn't classify by county or NAICS, those are shown separately, marked as bids it couldn't classify -- not hidden, and not treated as a match either.

Alerts

GovRoute checks your matches against the day's feed every morning, and when there's anything new you get one email by 7:05 AM Eastern. No news, no email that day.

What counts as a match, in plain words: three things you set at sign-up decide it -- your counties, your NAICS code prefixes, and your value band. Leave any of them blank at sign-up and that filter doesn't exclude anything. Your calendar feed and your daily email always show the same matched bids -- never more, never less.

Changing your counties, NAICS codes, or value band: use the Settings link on your subscriber page (/s/<your token>/settings) to change these yourself, any time. Your name, email, and business aren't editable there -- use the contact page for those.

Calendar

Your calendar feed link (in your welcome email, and on your subscriber page) is a live feed of the deadlines for your matched bids -- subscribe to it once and new matches keep appearing automatically:

Fact sheet

Pro subscribers get a one-time fact sheet -- your business info, licenses and bonding, and past performance -- at a link in your welcome email. Fill it out once; you can come back and update it any time from the same link. It's never shared with any other subscriber, and it's never used for anything except your own drafts.

Bid pages

Every bid on your page links to that bid's own page: the agency, county, and due date, plus a plain-language requirements sheet. On Pro, a bid page also has a "Draft proposal" button and a response package (a cover letter and a forms checklist), and shows similar awards when we found any, so you can see what closed and to whom.

A draft is a starting draft you edit, not a finished submission -- anything your fact sheet doesn't cover shows up in the draft clearly marked as missing, never guessed at. Everything stays in your business's name: GovRoute is never a party to your submission and never contacts an agency on your behalf. You review it, and you submit it.

Billing

GovRoute has two tiers -- Starter and Pro -- see the pricing page for what each includes. Anyone can create an account; nothing is gated behind an invitation. Alerts, the calendar feed, the fact sheet, and settings all unlock once you choose and pay for a plan -- confirming your email is not enough on its own.

Once billing is turned on, your subscriber page shows Starter and Pro checkout buttons and you pick one there (or from the pricing page). Until billing is turned on, your subscriber page shows a short note instead: plans open shortly and you'll get an email. Managing an existing subscription (updating payment details, canceling) happens through your own billing portal link, when one is shown to you.

Confirmation

After you sign up, GovRoute emails you a confirmation link. Clicking it activates your account and takes you to your subscriber page to choose a plan -- but alerts, the calendar, the fact sheet, and settings still don't turn on until you actually pay for a plan there. That confirmation link expires after 7 days.

If your link expired, or you never got the email, sign up again with the same email address. If it's been more than 10 minutes since your last confirmation email, we'll send you a new one; sooner than that, and we won't send a second one yet. Signing up again with an email that's already confirmed never creates a second account and never sends another email.
