Getting started
What is GovRoute?
GovRoute covers Georgia and Tennessee. Every morning it checks the Georgia Procurement Registry, SAM.gov (Georgia) and a growing list of county and city bid pages in Georgia, plus the public bid sources we read in Tennessee, then emails you the new public bids that fit your trade and area on mornings with a new match.
Do I need a password?
No. Your account page is a private link we email you. Don't share it: anyone with the link can see your page.
I lost my account link. How do I get back in?
There's no password: your private account link is your login. Enter your email at govroute.co/sign-in and we'll send the link again (at most once every 10 minutes).
My confirmation link expired or never came.
The link lasts 7 days. Sign up again with the same email address: if your last confirmation email was more than 10 minutes ago, we send a new one. Signing up again never creates a second account.
How do I change my name, email or business name?
These aren't editable in Settings yet. Write to us through the contact page and we'll change them for you.
Do I need to register anywhere before I bid?
That is a separate step from GovRoute. For state work, the Georgia Department of Administrative Services says the first step is registering in GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers. For federal work, a SAM.gov registration allows you to bid on government contracts. Our guide at govroute.co/get-bid-ready lists each official registration with its cost and link. GovRoute doesn't register you. With an agency, the only thing we do for you is submit, by email, a bid you've signed off on.
Do you submit bids for me?
We prepare the package: we write out the answers to the fact blanks on the agency's forms from the facts you give us, ready for you to copy onto the forms. Every number is yours: you set the price, sign, and provide any bond. Then you sign off and authorize us. If the agency takes bids by email, we submit it from GovRoute for your business, with your signed letter authorizing us, and we keep any confirmation the agency sends. If the agency says only the bidder may send it, you send it, and we give you the files and a short how-to-send sheet. On a portal, you press Submit from your own account, and we give you the files and the steps. On paper, you print, sign and deliver it. With Silver or Gold, you submit your own bid; every bid links to its original listing.
Alerts and coverage
Do you cover every bid in Georgia?
No. We read the Georgia Procurement Registry, SAM.gov (Georgia) and a growing list of county and city bid pages. Some local bids are only on an agency's own site.
When do alerts arrive?
On mornings with a new bid that fits, you get one email. No news, no email that day.
How do you decide what matches?
You pick your counties and tick your trades. A bid matches if it's in your counties and fits one of your trades. Your email can also list bids in your trade from counties within about 50 miles, under their own heading.
I didn't get an alert this morning. Why?
Alerts come in one morning email, only on mornings with a new match for you: no news, no email. Alerts also start only once your plan is active. If you expected a match, check your spam folder and your counties' spelling (a county name we don't recognise matches no bids), then write to us through the contact page.
How do I change my counties or trades?
Open Settings from your account page and change your counties, trades or contract value any time. Leave a field blank to stop filtering on it.
How do I put bid deadlines in my calendar?
Your account page and welcome email hold a calendar feed link. Subscribe to it once in Google Calendar (Other calendars → From URL), Apple Calendar (File → New Calendar Subscription) or Outlook (Add calendar → Subscribe from web), and new deadlines keep appearing.
Plans and billing
How much does it cost?
Silver is $49 a month: the morning email and a deadline calendar. Gold is $149 a month and adds a one-page requirements sheet and a draft response for any matched bid you open from the Georgia Procurement Registry, except Department of Defense bids. The sheet is built from the first pages of the documents the agency posts, so for a long solicitation check the full documents for anything the sheet marks as missing. If the agency posts only a listing, you get a shorter sheet from the listing, and the sheet says so. Platinum is $499 a month. Everything in Gold, plus 3 bid packages a month prepared for you. More are $149 each.
Does GovRoute check a bid's insurance or bonding requirements?
Insurance, bonding and license requirements vary by bid, and the agency sets them out in its bid documents. Every GovRoute alert links to the bid's original listing, where the agency posts its documents. We don't sell insurance or bonds.
How can I try GovRoute?
The way to try GovRoute is one bid package. $199 one time, no plan needed. A free Bronze account, no card: save bids and see their deadlines on a calendar in your account. Bid emails, matched bids, drafts and packages come with Silver, Gold and Platinum. Silver $49, Gold $149 or Platinum $499 a month.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No. Plans are month to month and you can cancel any time. Our Terms of Service explain the details.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from your account page. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, and you won't be charged again. If you ask within 7 days of your first charge, we refund it.
Can I get a refund?
Plans: if you ask within 7 days of your first charge, we refund that charge in full. You can cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
A one-time bid package: If we can't finish it in time, we refund the full $199. You don't have to ask. If we miss the agency's deadline through our fault, we refund the full $199. Once we have delivered it on time, it isn't refundable.
Privacy and data
Do you sell my information?
No. We never sell your information.
How do I delete my account and my data?
Write to us through the contact page. We delete your account details, filters and fact sheet within 30 days; payment records are kept as tax law requires.
